1. The master plan for the Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR), also known as Noida 2.0, has introduced a unique approach called the “no relocation policy.” This policy means that the current population within the region will not be relocated as part of the development plan.

2. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has introduced a new framework to simplify the reporting and verification process when an investor passes away.
3. Renowned author and philanthropist Sudha Murty has become the first woman to be honored with the Global Indian Award by the Canada India Foundation. This prestigious award, worth $50,000, is given annually to prominent Indians who have excelled in their respective fields.

4. The Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institutet announced the recipient of the 2023 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
The award has been given to Katalin Kariko, and Drew Weissman for their discoveries that enabled the development of effective mRNA vaccines against Covid-19

5. Indonesian President Joko Widodo has officially inaugurated the first “Whoosh” high-speed railway in Southeast Asia. This significant project is part of the Road Infrastructure initiative of China and is a collaborative venture between an Indonesian consortium of four state-owned companies and China Railway International Co. Ltd. President Widodo has been a champion of this 142 km railway project.

6. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved capital management reforms that will unlock $100 billion in new funding capacity over the next decade. These reforms aim to address the region’s overlapping crises and provide substantial financial resources for development projects and initiatives in Asia.
